Thomas takes care of the business side of Flying Sheep Studios. He is the oil which keeps the game making machine running smoothly. His tasks include sales, project management and business administration.
Thomas has been preparing to found a game company for a long time. During his business studies with entrepreneurship focus, he wrote his master thesis on the subject of free-to-play games. In his previous work experience he had jobs in various positions in several web and gaming start-ups. This gave him the opportunity to explore all the facets of running a company, and developing game projects.

Since he was a little kid, Daniel loved computers and technology. Learning to program was the natural thing to do. Decades later he is still learning.
Daniel is responsible for keeping the company on the cutting edge of web technology, from backend to frontend. Before co-founding Flying Sheep he worked on a web-based multiplayer platform and browser games.
Founder | Creative Director
When Ben got his first gaming console at the age of 10, the first thing he did was mostly ignore it and begin drawing down ideas for all the awesome games that popped into his head. After many years, little has changed and Flying Sheep's creative director still spends more time designing games than actually playing them.
Project Management & Game Design
Guido is on board for herding cats (Project Management), graphics and game design. He works as a Media Designer since 2005.
He studied Integrated Design at KISD (Germany) and UFPR (Brazil). During this time he specialized in games and graduated in 2013 with his final thesis about a re-design of a game classic. After graduation, he started his own game prototype project Magnet-O-Bro with the help colleges.
Guido also worked as a game design teacher at a private college for two years.
Having started in film production, Nicolay found his true home in game studies and development. At Flying Sheep, he now takes care of project management, doing his best to make sure everybody has a good time working on what they love - while keeping their deadlines.
His academic path took him through a B.A. in English-language Literature to the Cologne Game Lab, where he is currently writing his M.A. thesis on Player to Character relationships.
For as long as she can remember, Sylvia has always been fascinated by media and storytelling. She arrived from Colombia with a bachelor degree in Graphic Design, some experience as an animator/vfx artist and the sensible dream of becoming a game developer.
Currently she finds herself working as Game artist / UI designer at Flying Sheep Studios while studying a Master in game development at the Cologne Game Lab.
Carlos is in charge of graphics, everything from game assets, animations, texturing, and UI design. He has always loved games, and always wanted a career making them.
He was born in Colombia where he previously worked in several media, animation, and other game projects. He has also designed some games in his free time.
In 2016 Carlos became a part of Flying Sheep, while he finishes his master studies at the Cologne Game Lab.
Casi is a Jack of all trades currently on board (mainly) as a 3D generalist.
Her jobs have shifted from cameraperson to foley artist for TV, though her most persistent role has always been dedicated to postproduction: editing and CGI. She graduated in Audiovisual Communication B.Soc.Sc. in 2015 at UPV (Spain) with her first video game concept, and is now writing her thesis on Game Development & Research M.A. at the CGL (Germany).
She likes to experiment with all kinds of media and truly believes in games as an art form, like cinema, theatre or literature. Hence they aswell deserve to be criticised, analysed and -of course- enjoyed.
Raheel is a programmer at Flying Sheep Studios. He spends most of his time writing code and wondering why the web can’t be more like compiler based languages.
Raheel hails from Pakistan and is pretty new to the Federal Republic of Germany. He is studying for a Masters in Media Informatics from RWTH Aachen institute. He has a degree in Computer Science and has formerly worked on game design and programming of Unity Engine based 3D games.
Emil is part of the programming team at Flying Sheep studios and focuses on 3D development.
He's is originally from Sweden but moved in together with his girlfriend in Cologne after finishing his Computer Science BA in Game Programming. In his spare time, Emil likes to go swimming, a hobby he's kept going since he was 6.
